How We Turned an Anniversary Trip Into a Memory We'll Keep Forever
Priya and Rohan booked Salud for their 5th wedding anniversary. We asked them to write about it honestly — here's what they said.

We've been to Shimla, Manali, Nainital — the usual circuit. But five years in, we wanted something that felt genuinely private. Not a hotel room with a "couple package". Something that felt like ours. We found Salud on Instagram, booked it a bit impulsively, and we're still glad we did.
The Arrival
We reached on a Thursday evening in November. The valley was catching the last light — that particular shade of amber-gold that feels almost artificial. Ankit had arranged for flowers and a small welcome spread. What got us was the quiet. No piped music, no check-in counter, no one telling us to hurry to our room. Just the sound of the wind and that view.
The Candlelight Dinner
Ready to experience this for yourself?
Salud is a private villa in Kasauli for up to 14 guests. Ask us about dates and we will take it from there.
Book via WhatsAppThe candlelight dinner is complimentary with every stay, but there's nothing token about it. They set up a private table by the pool with real glassware, a multi-course menu, and soft lighting. No other guests, no noise. Just us, the food, and a sky so clear we could see the Milky Way. We stayed at the table until nearly midnight.
The Live Music Night
We added the live acoustic session as a birthday surprise for Rohan. The musician set up by the bonfire area and played a two-hour set of old Hindi and English classics — no setlist, just responding to the mood. Rohan doesn't cry easily. He cried.
