Bonfire Nights at Salud: Why This Has Become Our Guests' Favourite Part
We didn't plan for the bonfire to become the centrepiece of Salud. Guests showed us that it was. Here's the story behind it.

When we designed the outdoor space at Salud, the bonfire pit was almost an afterthought. A practical feature for winter evenings. What we didn't anticipate was that guests would consistently say, months after their stay, that the bonfire night was the part they remembered most.
What Happens Around a Fire
There's something genuinely physiological about sitting around a fire at altitude. The air is cold enough to make the heat feel like a gift. The darkness is real darkness — no light pollution, just stars that feel embarrassingly close. Phones go away. Conversations that haven't happened in years start happening. We have had guests tell us things around that fire that they haven't told anyone.

Salud is a private villa in Kasauli for up to 14 guests. Ask us about dates and we will take it from there.
Book via WhatsAppThe Details That Matter
We light the fire an hour before sunset so there's a proper bed of coals by the time you settle in. We provide blankets, corn for roasting, and chai. For groups that want more — we can arrange a live music session right there, with the musician playing against the backdrop of the valley. Or a silent evening with just the fire and your people.
